The Development Communication Specialist boasts of over 10 years UN experience. At the UN she handled advocacy, communication, research, and knowledge management at National, Regional and Global level. Besides, with a knack for storytelling, she has documented human interest stories and innovation best practices in climate change, gender, sustainable land management, youth empowerment, and social services. Having worked with development projects, Liz has been pivotal in ensuring that projects life cycles are documented at every stage and information shared with relevant stakeholders. Liz holds a B.A in Literature from University of Nairobi, PGD in Environmental Journalism and M.A in Development Communication (Daystar University).
Tim Kagiri
Head of Creative Design
If it’s creative design, then Tim has the magic. He brings to life in the most challenging of design concepts. His power to penetrate the psyche of the audience and create a resonating design remains mind boggling. Tim’s experience spans over a decade. He has His portfolio of work reads like the who is who in the corporate world: Prepared visual, layout, print, and production materials for Intel, P&G, the African Wildlife Foundation, Save The Elephant, Save The Children International, and Plan International, among others. He has overseen over 600 graphic design projects, demonstrating a strong design style, excellent people and project management abilities, and an unwavering attention to detail.
He holds a B.A in Public Relations from Daystar University, a Dip. In Fine Art and currently pursuing Master’s in human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at Simon Fraser University’s School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT) in British Columbia, Canada.
Tim is the lead Creative Tech consultant at Qmoonitii and Ethos Lab in Vancouver, Canada, promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality via decolonized design thinking when designing for marginalized audiences. At Rococo PR & Media in Nairobi, Tim creates user interfaces and visuals that are human-friendly, aesthetic, intrinsic, on-brand, and practical – with a touch of mellow enchantment, wit, and cleverness.
Wangari Njathi
Branding and Digital Media Strategist
Wangari Njathi is your go-to digital and brand strategist. With over eight years of experience working on multiple projects, Wangari’s touch on your project is magical. It doesn’t end there. Her media relations and networking finesse has brought great smiles on clients’ faces. Besides, Wangari is a scholar in her on right. She is a Communication and Digital Media scholar whose research interests are driven by the changing tech ecosystem in Africa and what this means to various actors. Her research focuses on Africa’s fast technological uptake along the paths of digital innovation, infrastructure, governance/policy, user practices/digital cultures, and transnational movement of the tech giants. She has a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University Interdisciplinary Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media program, she also has a proven publication and teaching record in the field of digital technologies, digital media, FinTech, mobile communication, platformization, ICT for development and global media policy studies. She is currently undertaking a graduate certificate course in International Development Policy at Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University. She is a Chartered Marketer (ACIM), with experience in East Africa in building sustainable brands in a multi-cultural international setting.
Francis Ochieng

Francis is an ardent strategic communications and public relations specialist with over 15 years’ experience.
Previously, he worked as a Business Editor at Mediamax Network Limited; Media Executive at Gina Din Group and Senior Account Manager at Ogilvy Public Relations. His is a polished hand in strategic communication – He has been a leading counsel for a number of leading brands in Kenya and beyond. Besides, He has worked on brand activations, litigation, internal communication, events management, media liaison and crisis communication for brands in a number of sectors such as aviation, telecommunications, banking, insurance, investment managers, tourism, manufacturing, real estate, sustainability, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Government.
Mr. Ochieng holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and currently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration in Strategic Management at the University of Nairobi. Additionally, he holds a B.A (Statistics and Business Studies) from
Kenyatta University.
